Organisations may purchase scoring and reporting software from us for a one-off fee and continue to purchase credits in order to score the assessments listed at this site. Organisations wishing to exercise this option should have suitably qualified individuals in-house to administer the assessments and provide feedback.
GeneSys™ is a dedicated assessment system which will administer, score and generate reports on virtually any psychometric test or standardised assessment. Totally flexible, GeneSys™ can be supplied as a shell so that developers of tests, surveys and questionnaires can administer and interpret their own materials by a desk or lap-top PC. Alternatively, existing and prospective test users can be supplied with the widest choice of tests or test batteries which can be administered, scored and interpreted by GeneSys™. It is also available simply as an expert report-generator for many industry-standard tests which have been completed in the traditional pencil-and-paper format. Raw scores or item data is accepted manually via the keyboard or, via optical mark readers.
GeneSys™ fully supports an impressive range of test materials which can be administered on-screen or in paper and pencil format, on their own or as part of a battery. The tests include measures of personality, vocational interests, values, aptitudes and abilities, as offered by Arabian Assessment & Development Centre. Assessment batteries are available for clerical, technical, sales, graduate and managerial selection and development.
These have been developed by psychologists with years of experience in interpreting particular tests. In some cases the reports have been produced by the test authors themselves; this provides invaluable psychological expertise at the touch of a button. GeneSys™ is capable of integrating the results from various assessment methods and provides the test user with a choice of reports to meet the requirements of most assessment situations.
These are based on a single respondent's scores on a particular test or battery. Individual reports can include profile and narrative elements.
This allows the user to specify the ideal profile on a particular test and compare respondents to this ideal, highlighting overall fit and areas for further exploration.
In situations where it is important to determine whether two individuals are likely to work together effectively; compatibility reports will allow the comparison of two profiles.
Where a large number of candidates are being assessed for the same role; group reports provide the facility to produce a summary listing of results in a single report.
GeneSys™ includes a job profiling environment which allows users to administer job analysis questionnaires and generate reports which describe the human attributes required to perform a particular role. These can be linked to assessment data obtained from test takers.
To facilitate test administration in remote locations, GeneSys can create on disk, a fully working version of any on-screen test or battery installed on the system. This can be run directly from the disk or installed on to a stand-alone or networked PC. Data generated from the assessment can later be imported back into the main system for scoring and reporting.
All GeneSys reports and applications can be customised to meet user requirements. Although GeneSys tests and batteries include a choice of different report styles, additional reports can be designed to focus on, or fit in with specific assessment demands. This might include integrating test data with ratings from other sources or interpreting the data within a competency framework. Customisation can be undertaken by the user or by the software supplier.
Because the testing market is rapidly expanding and the lifespan of some assessments is limited, the GeneSys system has been developed on a modular basis. This not only allows the user to choose from an existing library of available applications but provides the user with the option to add new materials as they become available. Any system can hold up to one hundred different measures with a virtually unlimited number of reports. On-going development ensures that we will not only keep up to date with the latest advances in psychometrics, but aim to be at its forefront as far as computer-based assessment is concerned.
